dial-in access system. The system uses SecureID authentication and
the TACACS protocol
- Lead Engineer for the
GlobalONE Datacenter move. The move involved all aspects of moving a
large datacenter to a new building. Some of the responsibilities
included network connectivity, power requirements, space requirements,
physical move requirements and no downtime
- Implemented the GPS time
synchronization for the datacenters in Reston, VA and Frankfurt,
Germany. The system uses Meinberg GPS-167 GPS satellite receivers
and xntpd
- Performed the initial setup
and configuration of GlobalONE's router security system using CiscoSecure
and the TACACS protocol

AWIPS was a

The final AWIPS configuration will be comprised of 155 systems deployed in all
50 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Each system is fully redundant and includes 4
HP K-class servers, several three headed HP J-class workstations, NEXRAD radar
receivers, SBN satellite receivers, and multiple WAN links.
