Replacing the batteries in my Uninterruptible Power Supply
Exide 1000VA UPS. Look at the big capacitors and coils! (Which retain a charge even without the batteries installed, so don't touch!)
4 x 5Ah@12V batteries in series (48V@20Ah)
Old battery. It split open! Fortunately, the acid is in gel form so it didn't spill all over the place.
New batteries about to go in
Don't do this unless you know what you are doing! Obviously, this UPS has enough stored power to kill you.
